Wine + a Safari? Wine not. We started our day off at Celine's place and headed out around 11:30am to make it to our 1pm reservation. I recommend going around 20 minutes early so you have time to register and take photos around the area before you start the safari. The whole safari was a couple hours long. We first stopped at the llamas and also quickly passed by the bison. We were given carrots to feed them and were told to break them into small pieces or else the llamas would spit it back out at you. Luckily for us we all listened and no mishaps occurred. Go us :D We then made our way to the gorgeous white horse and zebras. We were told to be careful around the zebras because they were more aggressive than the other animals. I didn't want to take my chances so I opted out on feeding them. This completed the first half of the tour. We were given samples of the Riesling, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. I'm no wine connoisseur, so I'll leave it up to them to explain the wines to you when you go visit. After the wine we got to meet the main attractions, Stanley! He was definitely my favorite part. Stanley is their famous giraffe. He's starred in Toys R Us commercials as well as Skittles commercials. He was such a sweetheart! I even got to take some selfies with him. After our hundreds of photos, we went to their RV Park. This area has a good amount of different themed air streamers that they have collected throughout the years. At this stop we got to sample 3 red wines and have some crackers with dip. We got to lounge around here and enjoy the area for a little bit then it was time to head back. Overall, we had such a fun experience shared with friends and animals! Thanks for a grape time, Malibu Wine Safaris!
