There's nothing better than waking up in your favorite city, ready to explore everything the city has to offer. My first stop every day was Galeries Lafayette Haussman. I was genuinely surprised at all the department store has to offer...it's really like no other. They have a gorgeous rooftop terrace that has a 360 view of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. Above the terrace they also have the Sous les fraises which is a vertical garden that also has its very own bee colony. They provide fresh flowers and herbs for local restaurants. I love how they're not only a department store but they have their own little quirks that make them unique. Some of the brands they offered include, Faure Le Page, Byredo, and Delsey.
Galeries Lafayette also has VIP lounges throughout that allows you to get away from the bustle of the store and sit-down and relax. They truly know how to make you feel like a VIP. It's not just a place to shop, it's a destination to shop, eat, drink, get pampered, and relax. Enjoy the experience yourself!
They're located in Paris' 9th district which is right across the street from the Opera house. I stayed at the W Opera which was a 2 minute walk away. I also got to visit the Louvre, Pont du Alexandre III, Palais du Royal, and Trocadero which was all a 15 min or less train ride away. There are two stations close by that are sure to get you anywhere you need to be in Paris!
I'll be back, Paris. Until next time!
